The effect of "one belt one route"

         Chinese government recently produced the strategy that is called "One Belt One Route".  This is a plan that connect Eurasian area, China is the beginning area of the belt and route.  Some parties believe that it has a positive effect to the other countries.  However, the rest of individuals think that it might brings some issues to the other countries.  From my stand point, the strategy is good to produce but remains some unobservable harms.

       Indeed, it brings many positive effect.  These kinds of actions intensify the construction of infrastructure of some countries.  According to the online-news, one of the involving country, Siri Lanka, is recently invested by China to build infrastructure and development, like build the roads and highway that shorten the travel time among cities and countries, and some other basic infrastructure.  Plus, there are more and more opportunities created for local countries.  It boosts the economy, this can be one of the positive effect.

        However, while China is investing a huge amount of funds into the relevant countries, most of the countries are accepting unaffordable debt, "China is investing billions of dollars in infrastructure and developments in Sri Lanka, but many local citizens feel the country is being sold to the Chinese." (Retrieved from: http://www.bbc.com/news/business-40044113).  How do the countries get investment repay these?    Sri Lanka can be the best example to demonstrate this issue, it is based on that "Sri Lanka is struggling to repay that money, and so has signed an agreement to give a Chinese firm a stake in the port as a way of paying down some of that debt."  They have no choice to sell the ownership of port or some place for repaying.  Sri Lanka is not the only one.

"'Belt and Road is now seen as part of the China solution for the whole world, not just the developing world,' Mr Kelly says. 'The question is what is the cost of stepping up to play that role. If they step up to the mark, it is not cheap.'"  It says there is some political elements concealed. So far we cannot have any opinion of that because nothing has been produced by China government.  
        
       To sum up, I don't think this strategy has a over-load negative effect or positive effect.  Especially, it still boost up several countries living standard and stuff.  Additionally, I believe that when a new idea comes out, there will come up some issue.  So we should critics or approve it in the future.
